Year Opened: 1960

Post Elementary was named for Ernest Stephen Post, who served on the Board of Trustees of the school district for 26 years. He came to the Fairbanks area in 1917 and was a member of the Fairbanks school district when it consolidated to form what is now known as Cypress-Fairbanks ISD.
